I really want to thank you for my recent whitetail deer hunt. I have hunted with you guys for several years, and it only gets better each year. I know this is the first year for VLC whitetail hunting trips, however I can honestly say that I have never been on a better hunt. I have hunted with other outfitters from Texas, Colorado, Kansas, and Michigan, you guys are the best. Everything from the accommodations, to the food, to the hunt, to the quality of the game, and most importantly, the people involved with VLC are all top quality. Some people say you pay for what you get, well, I have paid a lot more and got a lot less with other outfitters.
I have hunted all my life and never killed a buck even close to the caliber of animal you put me on. This is truly the buck of my dreams. A legitimate 195 class buck with 18 scoreable points and 4 drop tines is truly a buck of a lifetime. It is proof of what quality whitetail management can yield. The interesting thing to me, is that I only hunted a small area of the Blue Mountain Ranch. I know that no one has taken any deer off that ranch for the last 5 years, I am guessing that there are still better deer out there. I know I saw several bucks in the 160 class or better, including the 195 I killed. Many of those deer may be seen on the Texas Trophy Hunter show which was filmed while I was there.
You can always tell how good an outfitter is by the amount of repeat business that he does. I will be back again next year. Additionally, I recommended VLC to my good friend Bob Helms. Bob had never killed a deer that scored over 150. Bob is the President of a large Hospital Company here in Houston. He has mentioned to me on several occasions that he has always dreamed about killing a buck which scores over 160 B/C. I told him to arrange a hunt through VLC Whitetails. I can honestly say VLC is an operation where dreams come true as you put him on a 10 point that scored 170 B/C. Thanks again,
